Stage Presence Workshop

The stage presence workshop is designed to introduce performers to the techniques of stage presence and how to make your performance exciting! Students will learn all about how to “work the stage”.
Topics include: stage presence for videos and on stage performance including where to move, where to look, what to do with your hands, stage fright and how to overcome it, what not to do on stage, microphone technique, preparing for the performance, working with lighting, working with a band, and wardrobe and so much more.
Everyone will have a chance to perform and be critiqued.
Time: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Where: Norris Performing Arts Academy

*Reserve your spot now. Fill in the registration form on the home page and specify that you are attending the workshop. Once your registration is complete you will be given a personal account where you will be able to pay on-line.
Deposit: $25.00 due by Friday, May 28
*Parents are invited at 12:00 pm to watch the students perform.
*A Parent must accompany any child under 7. Thank You!
Each participant will receive a notebook, pen, and Stage Presence Guide. We will have pizza and juice for lunch. Bottled water will also be available.
Each participant will have the chance to perform and be critiqued. This is very helpful for all performers. You will be able to learn from each other!
